VOLUNTEERs AGREEMENT

Before you begin your Volunteering with us we require the below:

* A colour copy of your passport as proof of I.D

* A letter showing proof of Address

As part of your training we will go through the following:

* History of the Studio

* Classes and Programs

* Who is who (Management and Dances/Fitness Instructors)

* Booking software we use (Online Booking (via our Website), MoveGB, GoSweat)

* Payment options we accept online and in the studio (Website, MoveGb, GoSweat, Card, Cash)

* The hours you will be joining us between (Monday – Sunday)

* Covid-19 Guidelines

* Health and Safety (Fire Evacuation Meeting Point, First Aid Box, Accident and incident Reporting)

* Volunteers Daily Checklist

We will also discuss our expectations of you.

WHO WE ARE

We are more than just a dance and fitness studio! We offer creative multimedia services for businesses and entertainers as well as specialised classes and programs taught by world renowned choreographers. We have been operating in the heart of London for more than 10 years. We have 2 state of the art dance and fitness studio’s named New York and Los Angeles. WHAT WE DO:

Due to Covid-19 we are running Live and Dance Classes via our Website. When the Studio re-opens we have Fitness and Dance for beginners to advanced, Programs such as Beginners Heels, Foundation course, NXT 68 Academy and Training Academy. We offer various Services whether you need Filming, Photography, Animation, Graphic design and studio hire.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

You will be the first point of contact for all our customers and the overall community coming to the studio. You will have exceptional customer service and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be eager to learn about all our classes, programs, services and general running of the business.

WHO YOU ARE:

* Demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service when interacting with current customers and new customers (in person or over the phone).

* You will work together with your team and also use your own initiative.

* Support current customers and new customers with any queries regarding classes/programs and purchasing products (68 Apparel).

* Deal with queries and complaints in an efficient manner.

* Effectively handle cash transactions when dealing with current customers and new customers who wish to pay for classes / memberships / programs / 68 apparel and other studio amenities.

* Cash management check the till float ensure the float is correct and you have enough change for the day.

* House-keeping clean, tidy and maintain the reception area / our two studios / changing rooms and toilets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

* It would be great for you to join us one day a week (Monday – Sunday).

* Studio 68 uniform which is a T-Shirt (to be worn in summer) and Jumper (to be worn in winter). The T-Shirt will be given upon receiving a £15 deposit and the Jumper will be given upon receiving a £30 deposit. The deposit will be given back once you return the uniform to us and also when you decide to leave us.

* Show us the best of who you are.

* Inform management of any attendance issues.

* Give us four weeks notice if you want to leave us.

WHAT YOUR BENEFITS ARE:

As a goodwill gesture for being with us these are the benefits you will get

* 3 months – Free Fitness and/or Dance.

* 4 – 7 months – Free Fitness and/or Dance class, 1 hour Free studio time to practice per week upon availability. Check availability with management to book your time slot.

* 8 – 12 months – Free Fitness and/or Dance class, 2 hour Free studio time to practise per week upon availability. Check availability with management to book your time slot. You also get discount on events.

As a Volunteer at Studio 68 London, I am committed to adhering to this Code of Professional Conduct in all aspects of my activities. I understand it is my responsibility to adhere to the Code and that a breach of the Code might result in my suspension or dismissal.

Professional Competence

* I aim to behave with integrity in all business relationships, practicing honesty, fairly, objectively, consistently, and with courtesy and consideration.

*I am punctual and arrive for work on time (if there is an issue, I also inform management in good time).

* I ensure that my appearance and behaviour are suitable for the context I am working in, presenting myself and Studio 68 London in a positive light, treating those I work with, with respect; doing what I say I will do; and taking responsibility for my own actions.

* I will report any overages and shortages in the float if it’s less than £100 or more than £100. I am responsible for any money shortage that might occur during my shift. I will pay for any money shortage by my next scheduled shift. Failure to comply with this will result in instant dismissal. No free classes can be taken until the money is fully paid.

Maintaining Safe Working Practice

* I familiarise myself with the procedures and protocols of Studio 68 London.

* I ensure nothing in my control is of detriment to participants’ health, safety and well-being.

* I ensure that any accidents/incidents which occur are recorded and reported as appropriate and in accordance with Studio 68 London’s protocol.

* I am aware of and able to take responsibility for my own wellbeing, and take responsibility for my behaviour and relationships with others.

Working with People

* I am committed to the principles of equal opportunities and human rights, and believe everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and recognised as an independent and equal human being.

* I make sure nothing I do discriminates on the grounds of race, gender, sexuality, domestic circumstances, religious beliefs, political persuasion, social or cross-cultural differences, national or social origin, or other status.

* I work in an open, cooperative and sensitive manner to create an inclusive and positive environment, in which individual experiences, abilities and interests are acknowledged, supported and shared.

* I actively discourage inappropriate behaviour and challenge all forms of discrimination and unfairness.

* I respect and acknowledge the position, Studio 68 London management, team and support staff, and aim to work in a collaborative and cooperative manner.

* I understand that Studio 68 London is not obligated to pay for my travel, food and all other expenses while I am on the premises.

* I understand that I should act as a positive role model and that I should not engage in any behaviour that adversely affects the people I work with – Studio 68 London, volunteers, choreographers, fitness teachers and/or students/ participants.

As a Volunteer at [STUDIO 68 LONDON], I hereby agree to the following Confidentiality Agreement.

* I understand that I may be given access to confidential and/or proprietary information to the extent necessary in order to perform my duties as a Volunteer with [STUDIO 68 LONDON]. I shall not, at any time either during or subsequent to this participation with [STUDIO 68 LONDON], make unauthorized disclosures or unauthorized use of any information that is considered to be proprietary or confidential by [STUDIO 68 LONDON].

* Proprietary information includes, but is not limited to, all information, data, reports, analyses, processes, know-how, plans, marketing data and confidential information, whether in written, oral or electronic form.

* Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, any personal information of any [STUDIO 68 LONDON] employee, volunteer, customers and all members of the public, whether in written, oral or electronic form.

* No [STUDIO 68 LONDON] related information, including without limitation, documents, notes, files, records, oral information, computer files or similar materials except in the ordinary course of performing duties on behalf of [STUDIO 68 LONDON] may be removed from [STUDIO 68 LONDON] premises without permission from [STUDIO 68 LONDON] management.

* Additionally, the contents of [STUDIO 68 LONDON]’s records or information otherwise obtained in regard to business may not be disclosed to anyone, except where required for an authorized business purpose and/or required by law. I will not disclose any confidential information, purposefully or inadvertently (through casual conversation), to any unauthorized person inside or outside [STUDIO 68 LONDON].

* If I am unsure about the confidential nature of specific information, or whether specific information may be protected under the law, I will ask the [STUDIO 68 LONDON] management for clarification before disclosing the information.

* Proprietary information and trade secrets are created at substantial cost and expense to [STUDIO 68 LONDON]. Unauthorized use or disclosure of confidential or proprietary information would cause irreparable injury to [STUDIO 68 LONDON].

* I agree that monetary damages would not be a sufficient remedy for any breach of this agreement by me, and that, in addition to all other remedies, [STUDIO 68 LONDON] shall be entitled to seek (a) specific performance and (b) injunctive or other equitable relief as a remedy for any such breach, and I further agree to waive any requirement for any bond in connection with such remedy.

* When I cease being a Volunteer with [STUDIO 68 LONDON], I will return all [STUDIO 68 LONDON] related information and property that I have in my possession, including without limitation documents, files, records, manuals and supplies (uniform).

*Failure to comply with this agreement will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of my volunteers agreement at [STUDIO 68 LONDON].
